Kalie J. Kowalski, MS, CCC-SLP, Founder
Kalie received her Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from Howard University. She is licensed to practice in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Florida. Kalie is a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and the District of Columbia Speech-Language-Hearing Association (DCSHA). She has provided her speech and language services via telehealth; within DMV area schools (pre-k3 to grade 12); as well as in the homes of her clients and through community-based local early intervention programs (birth-4 years old).
Kalie specializes in treating children who are impacted by early childhood language delays and disorders and most enjoys empowering the families and caregivers who support these children through a parent-coaching model. She believes that by taking an active role in their child’s learning and development, caregivers can maximize the benefits of working with a communication specialist. As such, Kalie is passionate about teaching caregivers effective, evidenced-based strategies that will follow families from the therapy setting into their child’s daily routine. When she can sneak away from her laptop, Kalie enjoys cooking with friends, road trips to the beach, and exploring the DMV.
